Alpine areas visited during 2006 and 2007 include Northern Hokaido's Asahi Dake deep in the Tokachi Mountains, Furano and of course Niseko. Also featured in this gallery is the Japanese Alps along the Hakuba Valley on the main island of Honshu. The Snow Monkeys are also a must see when visiting this part of the world and one of my favorite images of all time was captured whilst there.
