This trip was to the massive resort area of Shiga Kogen. 21 powder laden mountains mostly all linked by gondola's, lifts or shuttles. Shiga lies in the Japanese Alps on the main island of Honshu. We also spent a week riding Nozawa Onsen which had been high on my radar for many years. Nozawa also didn't dissapoint with two 40-50cm dumps of fresh snow whilst there, fantastic knee to waist deep riding conditions through the gladed areas. Noz also has 2 leg burning 10klm runs. 20 mins flat out from top to bottom...awesome..!
